I had a quick look at the Kedit demo and it looks extremely powerfull. Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears to work mostly from the command line which means that I would have a learning curve to go through?

I currently use Textpad32 which is also extremely powerful and has a user interface with many utilities and applets. It does the multiple file search and count but extracts the results to a separate file. This is a difficult choice.... Kedit does what I want, Textpad almost does what I want but I much prefer the Textpad interface. If only Ztree would do it with it's wonderful interface and totally intuitive heirarchy....sssssssigh.

Many thanks for the info though!
