Unfortunately I was looking at a disk that didn't have a Volume ID at the time. We CERTAINLY don't want to lose the Volume ID, so this won't work.

My alternative would be to change "Available Bytes" to simply "Free" and combine it on the same line as the number of bytes. If we use all 20 characters of space between the borders, (see my related response to "Counts with Commas" on Feb 21), we can then display "Free 999,999,999,999", which should be large enough for a while!
