Love the fix to the JFC default if the name is not specified! And the "Files are identical" message. And the removal of the beep. Thanks Kim! :-)

One little problem with it though: If the defaulted file is identical, it still opens both files.

One other little suggestion... but its no biggie...

Since this "Files are identical" message is now silent, and it's tucked away at the bottom of the screen, it's not too obvious that anything's happened. XTree blanked the screen and placed the message at the top, which made it jump right out at you.

I think it would be neat, however, to instead display the message in an info-box in the center, like your Alt-Info does, if it would be easy enough to do.
