got an IPhone movie time ago; exiftool couldn't find EXIF timestamp within video ...
fired up MediaInfo (https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo) + found out that timestamp is in "com.apple.quicktime.creationdate". was able to set OS timestamps using this tag name ...

but yes, as powerful exiftool is the zillions of options + cmd line syntax are daunting ...
