it was suggested that a directory size should be shown, regardless of the Alt-KByte setting.
I agree, so here is a ZEP:
For the two Alt-File column modes that include file sizes, if the directory is logged and Alt-KByte is None, show that directory size in bytes (not KB), just as is shown for files.
The size is of that directory only, not including any subdirectories.
If the directory is not logged, the size will be blank (no question mark).
When Alt-KByte is used (i.e. it's not None), the directory sizes will disappear and in their place will be the Alt-KByte sizes or counts.
This will avoid having to use any more space for this feature, and the lack of any leading symbol will clearly indicate that these are the single-directory sizes, not Alt-Kbyte sizes or counts.
