In Response to: Alt-Info closes on Up/Down on network drives over VPN (Peter Shute)

I'm assuming there is a timing issue of some kind at play here due to the added latency of the connection.
Do you notice the spinner (bottom corners) active when accessing this information for remote files?

Do you notice anything strange about the Menu mode when Alt-I is first invoked? I did manage to simulate something similar by adding a delay, and found the menu was actually still stuck in ALT mode.

What about other navigation keys? Home/End/PgUp/PgDn - same behaviour?

Note that everyinput actually causes the Alt-I box to close - it's just that a navigation key is meant to navigate to the selected object and immediately open the Alt-I box again.
