It is not clear to me how you uninstall/reinstall ztree. I have had it on my successive machines for so long that the original installation data is lost in the mists of time. However I have run more tests with v2.4.145 and v2.4.167 side by side running from the exact same environment and I still get the problem. See screen grabs below. I will investigate doing a clean install somewhere and see if it makes a difference.
