I found the following issue:
- alt-copy of a bunch of files on a network drive
- after copying several files, copy stops since it cannot create a missing intermediate path because of a ntfs permission issue.
- manually creation of the missing path (logged with another user with more rights from a different PC)
- trying to restart the copy but got the error that the path cannot be created because it already exists.
- only option to move on: skip the current file.
this is the log i got:
[Alt-Copy operation on 9375 files started @ 04-02-2015 10:00:49]
04-02-2015 11:52:21 : Access Denied [5] (R) : G:\J&P\Pratiche\riservate\X\0030001-0040000
04-02-2015 11:52:44 : [183] (R) : G:\J&P\Pratiche\riservate\X\0030001-0040000
04-02-2015 11:52:47 : [183] (S) : G:\J&P\Pratiche\riservate\X\0030001-0040000
conclusion: I had to separately copy the missing file.
